Best Restaurants at The Battery Atlanta (2026): Where to Eat Before a Braves Game

Atlanta, GASeptember 14, 2026๐Ÿ”„ Last updated: September 2026

Heading to a Braves game and wondering where to eat at The Battery Atlanta?

With Truist Park right in the middle of The Battery, there are plenty of options for grabbing dinner before first pitch, meeting friends for drinks, finding a quick bite, or sticking around after the game.

I'm eating my way through Atlanta and personally reviewing restaurants along the way. Every restaurant I review is paid for by me and gets an independent Sam Score. No paid reviews and no bought ratings.

I've only personally reviewed one Battery restaurant so far, so I'm separating the places I've actually tried from other options worth knowing about. As I eat at more restaurants here, I'll keep updating this guide with new Sam Scores and rankings.

Tip: hover over any $ price tag below to see what it means.

โญ Personally Reviewed & Sam Scored

โญ Superica

Neighborhood: The Battery Atlanta, next to Truist Park

Sam Score: 8.1/10

Best For: Tex-Mex, margaritas, groups and a pre-game meal

Price: $$$

Superica was my first restaurant stop while eating my way through Atlanta. It sits right at The Battery and specializes in Tex-Mex, with house-made classics and signature margaritas.

What I ordered: the queso with picadillo, and Tacos al Carbon with steak, chicken and pork.

My verdict: You can't get much closer to the ballpark, the food came out quick, and the whole area has a great energy before a game. It can get busy on game days, and parking is paid, so build in a little extra time. Read Sam's full review โ†’

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ More Places to Eat at The Battery Atlanta

I haven't personally Sam Scored the restaurants below yet. These are current Battery dining options to consider depending on what you're looking for, and as I visit them myself, they'll move up into the ranked section above.

๐Ÿ• Antico Pizza

Best For: Pizza, a quick meal, groups and families

If pizza sounds better than a full sit-down dinner, Antico Pizza is one of the most obvious options. The Battery describes it as its own location of Antico Pizza Napoletana, and it's especially convenient when you want something straightforward before heading into Truist Park.

๐Ÿฅฉ C. Ellet's Steakhouse

Best For: Steak, date night, an upscale dinner and special occasions

For something considerably nicer before or after the game, C. Ellet's is The Battery's modern steakhouse, with steaks and seafood. This is one I'd consider when the meal itself is a big part of the night rather than something to grab before first pitch.

๐Ÿธ Garden & Gun Club

Best For: Southern food, cocktails, date night and an upscale pre-game

Garden & Gun Club brings the Southern lifestyle brand to life with elevated cocktails and a modern take on classic Southern dishes. If you want cocktails and a more polished atmosphere instead of the usual sports-bar experience, keep this one on your radar.

๐Ÿฅช El Super Pan

Best For: Latin food, sandwiches, a casual meal and a quick bite

El Super Pan is a lively sandwich bar from Puerto Rican chef Hector Santiago, with takes on classic Latino bakery food. I'd put it on the list for anyone who wants something more interesting than the standard burgers-and-wings game-day meal without committing to an upscale dinner.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ National Anthem

Best For: American food, a pre-game dinner and families

Next to the Omni Hotel and just steps from Truist Park's Chop House Gates, National Anthem is an ode to American food and baseball, with twists on classic dishes. That combination makes it a natural fit for an actual Braves game-day meal.

๐Ÿบ Yard House

Best For: A huge menu, beer, groups and sports

Yard House is one of the easiest picks when you're eating with a group that can't agree on anything. The Battery describes it as having 100+ American-style dishes made from scratch and a huge draft-beer selection.

๐Ÿˆ Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux

Best For: Sports bar, Cajun-inspired food, groups and game day

If you want the full sports-bar experience before the game, Walk-On's has more than 50 TVs and a Cajun-inspired menu with things like fried alligator, Bayou pasta and redfish tacos.

๐ŸŽณ Punch Bowl Social

Best For: Groups, drinks, entertainment and after the game

Punch Bowl Social combines a diner-inspired scratch kitchen and craft drinks with parlor-style entertainment, so this is one I'd pick more for the overall experience than just for dinner.

๐Ÿฅฏ Goldbergs Fine Foods

Best For: Breakfast, brunch, a quick bite and early games

For an early game or a daytime visit, Goldbergs gives you something different from most of The Battery's lineup: New York deli-style food like Reuben sandwiches, fresh bagels and matzo ball soup.

๐Ÿฆ Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Best For: Dessert, families and after the game

Sometimes you don't need another full restaurant, you just need dessert. Jeni's is an easy ice cream stop while you walk around The Battery.

How Early Should You Eat Before a Braves Game?

On game days, give yourself plenty of time rather than planning dinner right before first pitch. Many Battery restaurants take reservations or run online waitlists, which helps.

For a big game, a weekend or a popular opponent, I'd personally plan on getting to The Battery about 2 hours before first pitch if you want a relaxed sit-down meal. That's my planning recommendation, not an official Battery rule.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best restaurant at The Battery Atlanta?

I've only personally reviewed Superica so far, which earned an 8.1/10 Sam Score. I'm not going to crown an overall winner until I've eaten at more of The Battery's restaurants, and this guide gets updated every time I do.

How early should you eat before a Braves game?

For a big game, a weekend or a popular opponent, I'd plan on getting to The Battery about 2 hours before first pitch if you want a relaxed sit-down meal. That's my own planning advice, not an official Battery rule.

Do you need a Braves ticket to eat at The Battery?

No. The Battery Atlanta is a mixed-use district around Truist Park with restaurants, shops, entertainment and hotels outside the stadium itself, so you can eat there without a game ticket.

What kind of food is at The Battery Atlanta?

Much more than stadium food. The current lineup includes Tex-Mex, pizza, steak, Southern food, Latin sandwiches, New York deli, American comfort food, sports-bar fare and dessert.

Can you make restaurant reservations at The Battery?

Some Battery restaurants take reservations or run online waitlists, including on game days. Policies change, so check with the restaurant directly before a game.

โญ How the Sam Score Works

Every restaurant I personally review gets a Sam Score out of 10 based on my overall experience.

Sam Scores can't be bought. I pay for my meals, restaurants can't pay for a higher rating, and sponsored content or UGC work is kept separate from my independent restaurant reviews.

The goal is simple: help you figure out what's actually worth eating.
