Reviews and Sam Scores Are Opinions
Every review, ranking, and Sam Score on this site is my personal opinion based on my own visit, at one moment in time. Restaurants change: menus, chefs, and quality all move around. Nothing here is a guarantee of what your own experience will be.
I pay for my own meals. Restaurants cannot pay for a review, a Sam Score, or a place in a "Best Of" guide.
Accuracy of Information
I try to keep addresses, phone numbers, hours, and prices correct, and I check them against public sources when I publish. They still go out of date. Confirm details with the restaurant directly before you make a trip, and treat any price indicator on this site as a rough guide rather than a quote.
Affiliate Links and Advertising
Some links on this site are affiliate or referral links, including Amazon links on Sam's Gear and the card and rideshare referrals shown around the site. If you buy or sign up through one, I may earn a commission or reward at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
This site also displays ads through Google AdSense, and may publish clearly labeled sponsored content.
None of this affects Sam Scores or independent restaurant rankings. Advertising and affiliate relationships are always separate from reviews.
Your Account and Saved Places
You can save places without an account, in which case they're stored only in your own browser. If you sign in by email, your saved places sync across your devices. Don't use the sign-in form with an email address that isn't yours, and don't try to access anyone else's data.
I may remove accounts or content that are used to spam, abuse, or attack the site.
Content Ownership
The reviews, photos, Sam Scores, and written content on this site are mine. You're welcome to link to any page, and to quote a short excerpt with credit and a link back. Republishing whole reviews, guides, or photo sets without permission is not allowed.
Some images come from restaurants' own websites or embedded social posts and remain the property of their owners. They're used to illustrate places I'm writing about, and credited where they appear.
Third-Party Links and Embeds
This site links out to restaurants, retailers, and social platforms, and embeds content from Instagram. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for their content, their products, or how they handle your data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
Limitation of Liability
This site is provided as-is. I'm not liable for any loss or damage that results from relying on information here, from visiting a restaurant I've written about, or from anything you buy through a link on this site. Nothing here is health, dietary, allergy, financial, or legal advice. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, confirm ingredients with the restaurant directly.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms as the site grows. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the version that's posted.
