About Talkin' Tacos

Talkin' Tacos is the first Tennessee location of a halal Mexican chain out of Miami, open on 2nd Avenue North since late September 2026. You order at a kiosk and eat under neon signs and a splatter-painted wall, or out on the patio under purple umbrellas. The kitchen runs late, and birria is the thing it's known for.

What I Ordered

The App Trio and two Taco Trios: a Carne Asada taco, a Southwest Chicken taco, a Bang Bang Shrimp taco, a Birria taco, a Birria Taki taco and a Mahi Mahi taco, plus a Mangodana.
